Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Emergency Preparedness Services Limited (“we”, “us”), the company behind Dave Greenberg CSP’s keynotes and simulations. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us, such as:
- Your name, email address, phone number and organisation when you contact us or book a call
- Details about your event or organisation that you share with us
We also collect general information about how people use this website, such as pages visited, time on site, device type and approximate location. This does not identify you personally.
How we collect it
- Directly from you, when you email, phone or book a call.
- Calendly: our booking links use Calendly, which collects the details you enter when booking. See Calendly’s privacy policy for how it handles your information.
- Google Analytics: this website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- Embedded content: some pages include YouTube videos, which may set their own cookies when played.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Plan and deliver keynotes, simulations and training
- Send you information you have asked for
- Improve this website
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run our business, such as Calendly, Google and our email provider, or where required by law. Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand.
Audience feedback at events
At events, audience members can scan a QR code to download resources and give feedback. Feedback is shared with the event organiser as summary results only. The form also asks for your email address. This is optional. If you provide it, we use it to follow up after the session. We do not share it with the event organiser.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at dave@thedavegreenberg.com and we will respond within 20 working days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
